The following report is an account of Abdullah’s presentation on smoking .The presentation was given in W104 on Monday at 10:00am at Abu Dhabi Men’s College

.

In this report I’m going to describe about Abdullah’s presentation on smoking and how his performance was and what was good and what was not good during his presentation.  First of all, he started the presentation by welcoming and being friendly greeting to the audience and grateful for watching the presentation. He began by asking questions about his first slide to establish the topic of his presentation, which was smoking. After that he start to clearly tell us about his presentation contacts so the audience can understand what Abdullah is going to talk and cover about smoking. Abdullah gave us some useful information about smoking and the first information that I learned from Abdullah presentation was who discovered or invented cigarettes and the answer was the Indians (the indigenous people of America). After that he starts to talk about the consequences and solution of smoking. He mentions some consequences of smoking which was (Cancer Angina, Muscle injuries, Neck and back pain, Duodenal ulcers and Osteoporosis). After that he start to talk and gave some possible  solutions  that can lead to decrease the number of people who smoke to much  cigarettes, the solutions  were  Ban smoking in public places, Raising the tax rate, Impose strict laws on selling and Ban the import of cigarettes and their derivatives.

At the end, I’m going to describe the performance. Abdullah was good at getting our attention, the eye contact was very good, and moreover he was good looking to the board and looking at us. He answered the questions very well, and he was very gold to be asked questions. The slides of his presentation were nice to look at , easy to know the content and good number of words per slide, also the slides had lots of pictures that are related to the main problem and solutions but one thing that Abdullah faced was moving between one slide and another.
