Semi-Formal Presentation Report

Student Name: Ahmed Nabil

ID: H00234785

Venue: Trip to Sana’a.

Date and Time: 18/11/2012

Introducing the topic:

Ahmed Nabil introduced the city of Sana’a in a short way showing the borders of the city, the distance by airplane, how high is the city above the sea level, traditional clothing for two kinds , male and female. He also included history facts and videos. I liked the last video because it wasn’t only focused about Sana’a; it also mentioned the tourist areas in all over Yemen. Ahmed Nabil had a strong background about Yemen and was well prepared.

Presentation Style

1)    Eye Contact:

Ahmed Nabil did a lot of eye contact with the audience.

2)    Standing on the side of the screen:

The screen was clear with clear pictures showing the smallest details.

3)    Clear and loud voice:

Ahmed Nabil had a loud voice and a clear voice. Sometimes he translated some of the hard words into a similar known word so the audience can receive a clear picture of the slide.

4)    Slide organizing:

The slides were well organized. Ahmed Nabil started his presentation with tourism and historical sites of Sana’a and then Ahmed showed a video of that historical place; then he moved to the sites outside the city and at the end he showed a video of the tourist sites in Yemen.

5)    Confidence:

Ahmed was confident and well prepared answered all the questions and he wasn’t stressed and there was no movement around the place.

The PowerPoint visual:

The slide backgrounds were clear and that helped to show the details of the pictures. The font was clear and showed all the notes.

In my opinion the presentation was well prepared and well presented.
